「Study in Korea Education Fair with Local Government has been held online for three years to encourage foreign students who cannot participate offline due to various environmental factors such as compliance with the COVID-19 policy 😮

100 Universities from 8 Local Governments (Busan, Gangwon-do, Gyeongsangnam-do, Gwangju, Daegu, Incheon, Jeollanam-do, Chungcheongnam-do) participated in the Study in Korea Education Fair with Local Governmentand promoted their local government and study in Korea for 10 days from June 14 to June 23.

In Busan Metropolitan City, 10 universities (Kyungnam College of Information & Technology, Dongseo University, Dongju College, Pukyong National University, Catholic University of Pusan, Busan University of Foreign Studies, Shilla University, and Korea Maritime & Ocean University) participated to guide foreign students studying in Busan and to promote their schools.

In particular, through the "Live Chat" service, we were able to receive real-time online counseling where the school officials could answer questions from international students immediately. As a result, statistics showed that interest in studying in Busan was hot, with a total of 1,972 views, 520 chat messages, and 141 simultaneous viewers (as of June 20, 2022).

Based on these achievements, BFIC will attend the Post-Council of Study in Korea Education Fair with Local Government and hold meeting with local government and university officials. We will share our feelings and suggestions that occurred during the fair, and prepare for operation of second half of year’s Study in Korea Education Fair with Local Government. BFIC will do its best to support more foreign students studying in Busan by actively reflecting the opinions of the post-consultation council!!🥰
