The Busan International Student Support Council is a council where 16 universities in Busan and Busan Metropolitan City (Regional-Industrial-Academic Division) share the agenda and opinions about supporting International students. This meeting was the first face-to-face meeting in three years since COVID-19, and it was a valuable meeting for universities and related organizations to promote close cooperation.

The meeting was held in the following order with 32 officials from 14 Universities except for 2 Univ.(Kosin University, Youngsan University). The main points of the regular meeting are as follows. 1) BFIC’s Plans for Supporting International Students in 2022 2) Support status for the first half of the year and plans for the second half of the year 3) Sharing opinions on COVID-19 response by each Universities 4) Consultation between Foundation and University, Proposal for Supporting International Students
In particular, enthusiastic discussions were held on detailed support measures such as how to efficiently operate the foundation-university council and legal education for foreign students.
Our Foundation will try hard to apply the discussions proposed at the meeting and the opinions of the officials to help international students in Busan successfully study abroad and settle down. |
