On May 27, 2022 Busan Foreign Scholarship Orientation and the ‘Foreign Scholarship Student-Multicultural Immigrant Youth’ Glocal Mentoring Ceremony was held at Busan Citizen Park!

 First of all, 16 newly selected foreign scholarship students from Busan gathered together for the first time in 2022. Foreign students from 9 schools in 9 countries, including China and Vietnam, greeted each other. They also informed about the programs that they will be participating later on. A systematic organization was needed for these activities, and for this purpose, we selected a representative, a vice-representative, a planning team, and a filming team! 

 As much as they are getting scholarships, ✨ everyone's eyes sparkled! ✨ We wish the best in their future activities!

 One of the programs that scholarship students will host is Glocal Mentoring for Multicultural Immigrant Youths. It is a valuable program in which 18 students from Busan Multicultural International School become mentees and portray the future and career with Foreign Scholarship students. The launching ceremony for this was also held on the same day.

 The principal of Busan Multicultural International School and the representative of the Youth&Multicultural International Service Corps(YMIS) attended the meeting and warmly welcomed the mentors of Foreign Scholarship students. 

 Also, BFIC Secretary-General Jeong Jong-pil wished for a successful mentoring program through the greetings.

 How well the mentor-mentee match went, the atmosphere rised up quickly!
We hope that through mentoring activities, it will be a great opportunity to smoothly integrate into the K-culture and Busan.
