In the first half of 2022, representatives and members of the foreign student community gathered together to hold a meeting! This community representative meeting was attended by 15 foreign students from 7 universities, representing 11 countries. And we had time to greet the representatives of the international student community who have consistently attended meetings and the newly elected representatives and attendees.
The meeting was attended by Chung Jong-pil, secretary general of the foundation who fully support international students in Busan, Park Kang-ri, director of Regional-Industrial-Academic Division. And Joo Hyun-hoo, the foundation's Global Civic Cooperation Team introduced the project. We discussed the guidance on the 2022 international student business and the future plans for the activation of the BNIS(Busan Network of International Students). We also had time to share opinions on life support and difficulties for international students. The meeting was conducted safely in compliance with the COVID-19 quarantine guidelines in Busan.
Busan Foundation of International Cooperation(BFIC) provides a lot of support for the maintenance and revitalization of the community of foreign students! And we recruit "Busan Outstanding Foreign Scholarship Students" so that international students can study and work at the Foundation, and receive scholarships.
Also we plan to run the Internship Program for International Students, which is a good opportunity to experience employment, start-up support, and Korean corporate culture. We always listen most carefully to any of small voices of international students.
✨ We always support you ✨ |
