On the anniversary of its the Foundation, Busan Foundation for International Cooperation(BFIC) discussed the direction of the Foundation’s development. We hosted workshops to communicate with stakeholders at home and abroad, and contributed to the community through the environmental movement through the Haeundae -gu Plogging activities.

 The ‘Future Development Workshop’, which was held on February 25, discussed overall development plans for the Foundation’s projects. The workshop's members included the chairman of the Foundation Kim Yoon-il, and city ministries related to the Foundation.

 From now on, the Foundation will actively link international exchanges between citizens and institutions in sister cities through global network. It will also collect and provide information on Busan's international exchange resources, and further expand contact points with citizens.

 Subsequently, on March 2, we contributed to the local community through an environmental movement called ‘Plogging(Plocka upp+jogging)’ in Haeundae-gu (Gunam-ro-Harrydan-gil-Beach). And we also visited traditional markets (Haeundae Market) to revitalize traditional markets.

In the future, the Foundation will continue to strive for the internationalization of Busan, and push forward our image as a public diplomatic institution that brands "Glocal(Global+Local)" Busan.
