Global Gathering 2019

[Guidelines for Booths and Stage Performance Participation]

Any person or group who would like to be part of the biggest global culture festival in Busan that includes Busan citizens, expats, embassies, and many cities from other countries, please apply and let’s all gather together!

□ Festival Information

○ Date & Time : May 19th 2019 (Sunday) 10:00 – 18:00

○ Venue : APEC Naru Park (Centum City Station, Busan Subway line 2)

○ Main Participants : Busan citizens and expats, around 120 organizations

                               (sister cites of Busan, embassies, foreign communities, etc)

○ Facilities : 130 booths (10,000㎡), 2 stages

○ Expected Visitors : More than 20,000 people

○ Hosts : Busan Metropolitan City, BFIC (Busan Foundation for International Cooperation)

○ Details

- Opening Ceremony : Celebratory greetings and a special performance

- Stage Performances : Traditional performances from sister cites of Busan

- Booths : Promoting and introducing cultures and delicacies from different countries

- Experience Zone : Experiencing cultures and traditional costumes of Korea and other countries

- Exchanges : Sharing information important to expats in Korea

- Additional Events

□ Application for a booth or performance

○ Application Period : March 18th 00:00 – April 17th 23:59

○ Result Notification : Within 7 work days after application

(The decision will be based on intentions and contents)

○ Fee : Free of charge (50,000 won a booth for selling goods and/or food)

○ Details

- Booths : One 3m✕3m booth tent covered on 3 sides, a banner, 1kw of electricity, and a 180cm✕60cm table with 2 chairs are provided to a group/organization

(Use of extra table/s or chair/s will be subject to charge)

- Stages for performance : Main stage (9m✕13.7m) and sub stage (undecided)

- Items must be brought in between 14:00 and 18:00 on May 18th (Sat.) and removed after 18:00 May 19th (Sun.)

Agencies and companies who are willing to share and support the meaningful moments of the Global Gathering 2019, a global culture festival in Busan. The names or CIs will be displayed on related materials and the backdrop of the main stage.
