As of April 1, 2023, a new type of foreigner registration card is issued. The design of the residence card(including permanent resident card and overseas Korean resident card)was changed to improve more convenience and availability.

※ The old type of foreigner registration cards are valid until reissuance. In case of exchange, it can be reissued by submitting the old card and paying commission of 30,000 won.
