1. Purpose of introduction To

domestic residence information of foreigners with short-term visa in a crisis
of infectious diseases and terror 2. Reporting time When
a crisis alert* of ‘Attention’ or higher level is issued according to 「Infectious Disease Control and Prevention Act」 When
a crisis alert of ‘Caution’ is issued according to 「Anti-Terrorism Act for the Protection of
the People and Public Security」 3. Obligation to report for foreign
nationals with short-term visa** Foreign
guests with short-term visa have to present his/her passport or a travel certificate
to the owner of a lodging facility(A fine of up to 500,000won will be imposed
for violators). 4. Obligation
to report for lodging facility owners*** Lodging
facility owners have to report information on their foreign guests with
short-term visa to the Minister of Justice within 12 hours from the time
foreign guests stay or a crisis warning is issued(A fine of up to 500,000won
will be imposed for violators). 5. How to report They
should report information on their foreign guests with short-term visa to an
immigration office in his/her jurisdiction by using the attached format sheet
via email, telephone or FAX until a reporting system is set up in the first
half of 2021. * (Alert

Foreigner who is qualified to stay in Korea for less than 90 days for tourism,
visit, etc. ***A person who has reported as a lodging business under Public Health Control Act, or registered as a tourist lodging business, a home-stay business in foreign tourist city, or a Korean house experience business under Tourism Promotion Act |
