As
non-face-to-face consumption increases due to COVID-19, households using
various delivery services has been increasing. The corrugated cardboard boxes that is most commonly used for parcel delivery should be discharged after removing a courier invoice sticker and packing tapes. For Styrofoam boxes, the box itself is recyclable but the attachment
should be put in the standard plastic garbage bag. Oil paper in a fried chicken
box, cup noodle containers with food stains, etc. cannot be recycled.
The
key to recycling is ‘to empty, rinse, separate and not mix.’ When
you are confused with garbage separation, it would be helpful to use
‘separation and disposal in my hand’ mobile application.
