1. Criteria for F-2-7 dependent status newly established

When the applicant’s income for change of status to F-2-7 is above the GNI per capita notified by the Bank of Korea(The same shall apply to extension of stay), F-2-7 will be granted to accompanying legal spouse and minor children.

- Family visitor(F-1-12) status is granted for failure to meet income requirements.

2. Criteria for extension of stay for F-2-7 revised

1) Permitted Period of stay: Differential period of stay of 1 year to 5 years granted depending on income and total points earned.

2) Review criteria for extension of stay: Points requirements (80 points or more) and accompanying family member requirements are re-examined for extension of stay.
